At Outfittr App ("we", "our", or "us"), protecting your privacy and personal data is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your information when you use the Outfittr App mobile application and website (https://outfittr.fit).

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our AI fashion intelligence services:

  • Photos & Camera Access: When you use AI Ungatekeeper, Virtual Try-On, Outfit Rating, or Fit Battle, you grant permissions to upload photos or capture camera shots. Photos are processed exclusively to perform garment detection, virtual fitting, or AI rating.
  • Device & Usage Information: Technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, and IP address used for security and performance optimization.
  • Account Data: If you register or authenticate via Supabase Auth, we store your email address and authentication credentials securely.

2. How We Use Your Photos and AI Data

Photos you upload are processed in real-time by multi-modal AI vision models (e.g., Google Gemini AI APIs and secure Supabase Edge Functions) for the sole purpose of generating style analysis, outfit scores, garment bounding boxes, or try-on previews.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your photos to third parties for advertising or marketing.

3. Data Storage & Retention

  • Temporary base64 image data used during real-time AI processing is retained only for the duration of the API call.
  • Saved outfit ratings and battle history are stored locally on your device or securely in your private user account using encrypted cloud database connections.

4. Third-Party Services

Outfittr App integrates trusted infrastructure providers for app operation:

  • Supabase: For cloud database hosting, authentication, and secure edge API execution.
  • Google Cloud & Gemini AI: For multi-modal fashion intelligence, garment detection, and outfit rating.
  • SerpApi / Google Shopping: For fetching public product shop links and pricing.

5. Your Privacy Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Device Permissions: You can revoke Camera and Photo Library permissions at any time via your device's settings menu.
  • Data Deletion: You can clear local app data or request account and data deletion by contacting support.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and robust access controls for all cloud services.
