Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 29, 2026 | Last Updated: August 8, 2026
At Outfittr ("we", "our", or "us"), protecting your privacy and personal data is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, retain, and safeguard information when you use the Outfittr mobile application and website (https://outfittr.fit).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our AI fashion intelligence services:
- Photos and User Content: When you use Find, Try On, Rate, Roast, Fit Battle, or sharing, you may select or capture photos. We process those photos and the prompts, style preferences, and results needed to provide the feature you requested.
- Account Information: The app creates a random account identifier so we can secure requests, manage credits, enforce limits, and connect purchases to the correct customer. Outfittr does not currently require your name, email address, or password.
- Subscription Information: We receive information about purchases, subscription status, renewals, expiration, and the store used. We do not receive your full payment-card information.
- Security and Usage Information: We process limited account, device, request, and credit-usage information to operate the service, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and manage service costs.
- Support Information: If you contact us, we receive the email address and content you choose to provide.
2. How We Use Your Photos and AI Data
Photos and request data are transmitted to contracted service providers only as needed to deliver the Outfittr feature you request. These providers process data on our behalf for cloud infrastructure, AI-powered image and text processing, product discovery, and purchase management.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your photos to third parties for advertising or marketing.
Outfittr does not use your information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
3. Data Storage & Retention
- Temporary upload objects are deleted after processing when possible and are automatically eligible for cleanup after approximately one hour if an operation is interrupted.
- Rating history, streaks, style preferences, and pending try-on information are stored locally on your device.
- If you deliberately create a public share link, its selected image, result data, and share card are stored for up to 180 days so the link and message preview continue to work. Anyone with the link may view that shared content.
- Detailed feature-request and account usage records are deleted with the account. To prevent repeated free-credit claims or paid-credit resets, we may retain limited eligibility and aggregate credit-usage records for up to 24 months after deletion. These records do not include your photos, prompts, results, contact information, or deleted account identifier.
- Subscription and purchase records may be retained while needed to provide, restore, secure, and account for purchases, or as legally required.
- Support communications may be retained as needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records.
4. Third-Party Services
Outfittr uses contracted service providers in the following categories:
- Cloud infrastructure: Authentication, secure request handling, database services, and temporary or user-requested storage.
- AI processing: Image and text processing required to return the feature result requested by the user.
- Commerce data: Product discovery, public retailer links, pricing, and availability information.
- Purchase services: Store checkout, subscription status, entitlements, restoration, and subscription management.
We require service providers to process data only for the contracted purpose and to protect it in accordance with applicable law and our agreements.
5. Your Privacy Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Device Permissions: You can revoke Camera and Photo Library permissions at any time via your device's settings menu.
- Account and Data Deletion: Open Outfittr Settings and select Delete account & data to delete your anonymous account, detailed request records, owned share links and share images, and local app history. A limited pseudonymous fraud-prevention and aggregate credit record may remain for up to 24 months as described above. Deleting Outfittr data does not cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple or Outfittr’s subscription-management screen.
- Support Requests: You may also contact support to ask a privacy question or request assistance with deletion.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit and robust access controls for all cloud services.
7. Contact Us
